Stan Clemens came to the homebuilding industry by
a different route than most builders, a route that
has given him a unique vision, excitement and passion
for each home Clemens Construction Group builds.
Originally, Stan was a math professor, later transitioning
into math textbook writing. In addition to writing,
Stan became involved in designing the visual images
of the pages and discovered that what he was doing
was actually an art form. That’s when
the mathematics professor began identifying with artists.
As Stan began to invest in real estate in his spare
time, the artist in him became excited by architecture
and the art of building. There was really no
turning back.
Land development began in the 1990’s with the
Riverbend project. And today Stan Clemens and
the Clemens Construction Group build homes throughout
the Bluffton, Findlay, and Lima, OH, area. Though
there is surely a mathematician still inside Stan,
it is the artist in him that inspires his passion
about the art of homebuilding – the art of building
YOUR home.
Dave has over 35 years of construction experience,
both in residential and light commercial building,
including building a subdivision in Pandora in the
1980s. He worked hands-on with homeowners in
his own construction company, helping new buyers with
every phase, from choosing a lot to moving in to their
new home. Dave has brought that same hands-on
approach to homebuilding to Clemens Construction Group.
Growing up in nearby Pandora and a resident of Bluffton
since 1978, Dave is completely dedicated to the community.
While his 3 children were growing up, Dave was very
involved in youth activities, including serving on
the original board of Bluffton Family Recreation and
volunteering with them for nearly 15 years, along
with serving as assistant soccer coach at the high
school for 5 years. Now Dave and his wife focus
their volunteer activities more on ministry opportunities
including being involved with their church where they
participate on a marriage mentoring team and used
Dave's construction skills on 3 short-term volunteer
work projects.
Jeff has been in the construction industry over 20
years, building homes for over 13. One of his
areas of expertise is modifying home plans to meet
the unique desires and needs of each homebuyer.
Married and the father of five, Jeff is actively involved
in youth sports in his hometown of Bluffton.
Jeff has been a volunteer coach for youth soccer for
2 years, Little League and Pony League for almost
20 years, volunteer coach for girls youth softball
over 5 years. Additionally, Jeff is one of the
Bluffton Diamond Sports Board members, has been a
Park volunteer for many years and is a former member
of the Bluffton Park Board.
Currently Clemens Construction Group builds on your
